Emotional Wellness

Getting help.....

Your mind and body, your spirit and your environment are all parts of your "whole;" each contributes to your quality of life, whatever it is.  If you are considering a course of therapy, you will want to choose someone who is sensitive to your whole being, someone who can draw from the wide range of methods that have been designed - and proven - to enhance the way you live.

For twenty years or so, I have helped clients to make their lives healthier, to make their choices more informed, and to make their stress levels plummet.  We begin in a calm, friendly setting that helps clients want to learn more about themselves.  Together we establish the client's goals and expectations.  As they become more self aware, these clients begin to acquire the stress management techniques that will help them to realize their potential.  My goal for every client is Emotional Wellness.

BIO
I have an undergraduate degree in Psychology from New York University, a Masters in Guidance from Fordham University, and a degree in Counseling Psychology from Fordham University.  I am a National Certified Counselor (NCC), New York State Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), New Jersey State Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), certified in Holistic Stress Management, a LifeForce Yoga® Practitioner Level 1 and RYT-200.
My career is dedicated to helping youth and adults, often at community centers, clinics, and schools.  I have designed and managed a treatment center in a high school for emotionally disturbed teenagers, and have provided therapy for a variety of disorders.  My experience has given me the ability to exercise good judgment and emotional stability in evaluating individuals, assessing situations and making decisions, often under pressure of unexpected and stressful events.
